Reunion website template
A reunion website that gets everyone in one place.
Reunions are planned by one or two volunteers for dozens of people who have scattered over the years. The website does the heavy lifting: what is happening, where to stay, what it costs, and who is coming.

The Okonkwo Family Reunion
July 23 to 25, 2027 · Pine Lake Park
Planning guide
What to include on a reunion website.
Who the reunion is for
Family name, class year, or team. Make the scope clear: are spouses, kids, and extended family included?
The full weekend
Reunions often span a Friday mixer, a main event, and a Sunday brunch. List each with a time and location.
Lodging
A recommended hotel or campground, with a booking deadline if you have a block of rooms.
Costs
If there is a per-person fee for food or the venue, say how much and how to pay. Transparency avoids awkward conversations later.
What to bring
Old photos, a dish for the potluck, or a family recipe. Small asks make people feel part of it.
Sample schedule
How the day could run.
Schedule the group photo for a fixed time and say so twice. It is the hardest thing to organize on the day.

Wording tips
Say it clearly, and kindly.
Lead with the reason to come, not the logistics.
It has been ten years. The kids are taller, the stories are better. Come home to Pine Lake.
State costs plainly with a pay-by date.
Dinner is $25 per adult, kids under 12 free. Please pay Aunt June by July 1.
Ask people to forward the link to relatives you may have missed.
Questions, answered
Reunion website FAQ.
How far ahead should a reunion be announced?
Six to twelve months for family reunions that involve travel, three to six months for local class reunions. Ask for replies six weeks before.
Can relatives forward the link?
Yes. Anyone with the link can view the page and reply, so it is easy to reach branches of the family you do not have contact details for.
Can the page show a weekend of events?
Yes. The schedule can list several events across multiple days, each with its own time and location.
